NEWS about DMG/B15

Note: this is about B15, not B17. :-)

For FDA purposes: I, Sandi Rog, am NOT a doctor.

If any of you are suffering from the following diseases/problems, get your hands on some B15 (and take the recommended dose on the bottle; I'd take the highest dose on the bottle if your disease is severe).

I recently learned that B15 (a.k.a DMG) is helpful for a number of diseases. See below for the lists I've found. I personally also believe it will help with autoimmune diseases. I have MS and I haven't had any symptoms since being on both B17 and B15.

Here's a story about B15:

My daughter's friend has ASTHMA, and he's 19 years old. He's been on B15 for about a week, and I recently learned that he no longer gets winded when climbing the stairs, his allergies don't flare up when he plays with his dog, AND he ran a mile-and-a-half for the FIRST TIME and the only reason he stopped was because he got a side-ache!

Another young man, my cousin, who plays soccer used to carry his emergency inhaler when he'd play a game. He no longer needs the emergency inhaler and hasn't needed any inhaler for months now! I need to get more details so I can put them on here. It took him a couple of months to get to this point after getting on 125mg of B15 once a day.

The names and sites are listed from where I got the information below. Apparently, the following diseases and problems can be caused because of a Vitamin B15 (DMG) deficiency:

Alcoholism

Drug addiction

Aging and senility

Minimal brain damage in children

Autism

Schizophrenia

Heart disease

High blood pressure

Diabetes

Skin diseases

Liver disease

Chemical poisonings

IF DMG IS GOOD FOR ANIMALS, AS STATED IN THE FOLLOWING ARTICLE (IT MENTIONS IT'S GOOD FOR SEIZURES AND ALLERGIES) THEN WHY NOT USE IT FOR HUMANS WHO SUFFER FROM THE SAME)?

DMG stands for dimethylglycine, also called vitamin B15. It is found in low levels in foods, including meats, seeds, and grains. Both the human and animal body makes DMG from choline and betaine. It is suggested that increased dietary intake of DMG is to provide carbon to cells. It is also a precursor of SAMe. DMG appears to enhance oxygen usage, prevent the accumulation of lactic acid, improve muscle metabolism, function as an anti-stress nutrient to improve the cardiovascular system, and reduce recovery time after vigorous physical activity.
    Therapeutic Uses of DMG
It has been recommended for use in pets with a variety of conditions including osteoarthritis at a dose of 50 to 500 mg per day. Its mechanism in the treatment of osteoarthritis is via an anti-inflammatory effect. Many doctors prescribe it for horses, dogs, and cats to improve performance and enhance recovery from various health problems. DMG is considered an anti-stress nutrient.
Holistic veterinarians have also recommended DMG as a supplement for pets with seizures and allergies. Research suggests that DMG may in fact be beneficial for these conditions, although the actual benefit for these conditions is unproven through controlled studies.
Studies have shown DMG can improve the immune response by potentiating both cell-mediated and humoral (antibody) immunity. Some holistic doctors also recommend DMG for pets with immune disorders such as cancer, feline leukemia virus infection, feline immunodeficiency virus infection and diabetes (at a dosage of 0.5 to 1.0 mg per pound daily). DMG is included in formulas for pets with heart disease. It is proposed to work by improving oxygen uptake and utilization.
DMG is also recommended as a natural therapy for pets with epilepsy at a dosage of 50 –500 mg per pet per day.
    Safety Issues
DMG is extremely safe. The body converts it into its metabolites that are either used or excreted from the body.

    1. Paula, I have no idea. You and your doctor would need to figure that one out. When I got off all my prescription drugs, I did it little at a time, without my doctor's permission. He was dead-set against it, and I ended up being fine. I'm not suggesting you do this, I'm just saying what happened to me. But I had to get off of them very slowly and watch my body carefully. You know your body better than anyone.

    2. Where do you order B15 capsules?
I have been battling Stage IV Non-Hodgkins B-Cell Lymphoma for 9 years without doing chemo or marrow transplant. My wife is now also battling Stage IV Ovarian. We are both doing Essiac Tea, Beta-Glucans, ImmPower and B17. She has surprised Alive Hospice. She came off all her morphine medication 3 weeks ago. We also believe in God's herbs and seeds for food and healing.

      Sincerely,
      Haskell
I also have a little rinky-dink web-site and I also sell nothing. It tells you about my life and my battle against Cancer.

    3. Dear Haskell,

So sorry to hear about you and your wife's diagnosis. Cancer is an epidemic. I had Stage 4 Non-Hodgkins T-cell Lymphoma. I did the transplant, but it still didn't work. I get my B15 at our local vitamin store.

I'm so glad you both are taking the B17 and that your wife is doing better. I take 500mg twice a day. Dr. Richardson also had his patients take that amount.

I put up testimonials on my blog so you can read some success stories. They always encourage me.

Yes, the seeds are all from our Lord! I'll check out your website!

      In Him,

      Sandi

  2. Sandi, I can't find B15 anywhere. Do you have a UPC code, brand name, or store name? Thanks!

    1. Have you tried Vitamin Cottage? That's usually where I get mine. I also got some once at the Vitamin Store off of Washington and 120th. That place is just up the street from the Vitamin Cottage we go to which is off of Washington (between 112th and 120th). B15 is also called DMG. I don't have any codes, and the only brand name I can think of off the top of my head is the NOW brand. I found another brand of it at that Vitamin Store though. I trust all the brands I can find at Vitamin Cottage/Natural Grocers. Hope this helps.

  3. Hello Sandi,

My mom is diagnosed with stage 4 gallbladder cancer (spread to pancreatic and other areas). I purchased B17 plus other supplements including B15, that support it but was wondering how much B15 should be taken? The B15 vitamin I purchased for my mom is from Food Science Labs (250 mg/ 90 capsules). She's currently taking 2 of these per day. What would you recommend? Thank you.

    1. I don't know how much B15 one should take. A friend told me after searching online that she discovered for patients undergoing serious disease, that 500mg a day is a good dose. But honestly, I have no clue. I take 500mg a day, if that helps any. I hope and pray the B17 will be able to help your mother.

  4. Thank you, Sandi. I appreciate your feedback and kind words. My mom's been on the B17, along with other supplements, for about a month now but her weakness has gotten much worse. 2 days ago, in the ER, the CT Scan showed that the cancer has spread to stomach. I am not sure if it's the nature of my mom's cancer (gallbladder) that it's taking B17 longer to take effect than other types of cancers but we are all having a difficult time watching our mom suffer. She's not able to digest food/water at all. Up until recently, she was able to have tiny bits of solids but now, even holding down water is a challenge.

I am praying for a silver lining. We are not giving up on the B17 nor seeking other alternative treatments either. Thank you for your kind words and if you have any other information you can share with me, I would greatly appreciate it.

    1. Oh, I'm sorry your mom isn't doing well. So, so sorry. My fear is she started the B17 too late. So many do. I did, but I was blessed in that it still worked. We all trust in the conventional treatments (I did). I thought, if there was something better out there, my doc would give it to me. Most folks who get on it try it after everything else fails. And often, it ends up being too late. I'm not trying to discourage you. It's just been my experience with others. xxx

    2. HI GracenPeace, I just read your short story about your Mom, and I know that was way back in Jan.2013. I hope and pray to God all is well and she is hanging in. I started taking the Apricot seeds & B17 100mg daily and I am not even diagnosed with cancer but had lump on right side rib cage starting from the mid 1980's grew to little bigger then the size of a pea, and now has gone done alot in only less then 2 months. From so much research I have read, your Mom could have used the liquid form of Amygdalin (Laetrile) I have read getting this into a patient via IV at 6-9 grams daily for 21 days for a Stage 4 or Terminally ill patient is the dose at those stages. God Bless, wish you all the best.

  5. I just found out 17 days ago that I have a brain tumor (cancer). They want me to start chemo and radiation. I am terrified to do this, but also terrified NOT to. B17 sounds great, but I feel like a FOOL trusting apricot seed instead of 'modern medicine'...

    1. Oh, no! I'm so sorry! I haven't heard of cases where B17 helped with brain tumors, but according to Dr. Krebs, B17 works on all cancers. How big is your tumor? For folks that have cancer, you need A LOT of B17, so I'd recommend taking the tablets or IVs over just the apricot seeds. It's also easier to swallow a pill anyway. Keep in mind, I'm not a doctor, so I really can't tell you what to do or what is best. I'll look through my Case Histories book and see if they have anything on brain tumors. What I do know is they treated all sorts of cancers: leukemia, breast, etc, etc. One child had cancer all down his arm, and the doctors wanted to remove his entire arm, but the parents refused. They looked into Laetrile/B17, and this boy is alive today, cancer free, and healthy as can be. I personally believe B17 (a high enough dose) will help you. But again, I'm not a doctor. God bless you. I'll pray for you.

  6. Hi Sandi Rog,

God is unlimited in his power...
Thank God, that has created bitter apricot kernels B17 and I love it. God Exists in Islam.

Pangamic Acid B15 is not available in the USA because the FDA took Pangamic Acid products off the market over two decades ago.B15 has been shown to lower blood cholesterol, improve circulation and general oxygenation of cells and tissues, and is helpful for arteriosclerosis and hypertension - some of America's most common diseases.Mor info:http://www.janethull.com/newsletter/0606/the_forbidden_vitamin_b15.php

  7. Pangamic Acid B15 is found in:
    - Whole grains such as brown rice
    - Brewer's yeast
    - Pumpkin and sunflower seeds
    - Apricot kernels
    - Beef blood

  8. Hi Sandi,

Is DMG similar to TMG and known as B15? I found DMG in a supplement store, but not B15. On the bottle it says DMG Nutrional Support (N, N-Dimethyl Glycine) 125mg. Is this correct?

    Thank you,
    Lani

    1. DMG is B15. I "think" TMG is B15, but I don't know.

  9. NutraBio sells DMG/B15 in powder form with a tiny scoop so you can adjust your own dosage. Roger Kendall wrote a book calledBuilding Wellness with DMG and he suggests different dosages depending on the condition. I bought the book at a discount at Vitacost.

  10. DMG and TMG are not the same. Trimethylglycine is betaine. They are similar but are involved in different bioactive reactions.
